Ah yes, so you can't find a good name, and it'd be nice if it was appropriate for this era. I thought I'd post a few links to useful naming sites. Behind the Name is my my favorite, I use it all the time in naming characters. You can find unique names, or just the perfect average-type name you didn't think of before. You can also make your own personal name list after a quick registration, to quickly view the ones you've faved. They have lists of the 1000 most popular names going throughout the past century, in America. I don't know if it matters much between the US and UK. Click! Also check out: BabyNamer, Baby Names, BabyholdSo now you're thinking, "Well, that's all nice, but I still need a last name." I often just make up my surnames by putting random letters together. No, I'm not suggesting you name your character Qhjpokuiwqe, you've gotta be a little more sophisticated than that. But if you can't decide on one yourself, check out these links for help: SD2's last name generator, Common Surnames @ Wikipedia, and this one has both first and last names. Now let's hope this is helpful. If you know of any other naming site post them here and I'll add them. :]
