Tristyn Scott A tall man about 6 foot walked into the Library. His black suit was clean, and didn't have a stain on it. His shaggy brown hair was neat, but in his face slightly. His blue eyes looked around the room. It was full of books, and it certainly smelled of them too. With a determined look he walked straight over to the science section. He knew exactly what he wanted, a book about cells. He was fascinated by them. They knew so little about them, but still with the little knowledge they had it still intrigued them. He hoped to someday study them also, but first he had to finish his schooling.
His eyes scanned the titles, until he came across a blue book with silver lettering. He pulled it out of its space, and headed for his favorite comfy chair. There he sat, and opened the book. He was deeply engrossed in the book. There was so many things he still didn't know. He hoped they would discover more things soon. Though he hoped not to many things, because he would like to discover a thing or two soon.

Annabelle Curr Buckingham
Annabelle had successfully once again been chased away. She had been been told many times she needed to stand up for herself but she found it best to just bow out and avoid conflicts unless someone else was liable to get hurt. She didn't really care at all about herself, well she cared she just cared less when it came to others. She had been turned down time after time to play for people and she was becoming depressed.
She knew however if her father's next letter came and she said she quit as a reply... Well it was safe to say he would get oh so worried about her well being. Not that he wasn't worried now but more so then seeing she didn't have anything to live for. She did, it was just... God it was to complicated, so complicated she didn't even want to talk to herself about it. With a bottled up sigh she entered the library. If there was any place to gather ones thoughts this was the place.
She had no idea how she ended up in the path of the library but she knew it didn't matter now that she was surrounded by its peaceful arms. Call her crazy, and many did, she found this place to be a second home to her. It had a homely feel despite many things that would scream homeless rather then homely. As long as it had books she didn't care. She wondered if her horse would find her way back home like always... She sighed again as she plucked a book from the case.
Finding a spot with her visage buried deep without the pages of the heavy book she sat down. She loved books because no matter how rich or poor you could always find a common ground, you were lost in the fantasy world of science and fiction, comedy and horror that was a book. She had learned that books were better friends then anything else in this world, save animals. They were pretty loyal as well. Sighing again she turned the page and continued reading.
OCC;; Hope you don't mind me putting her here, I had no where else to put her really.

ooc: no not at all I don't mind IC:
Once Tristyn was finished, he got up and put the book back where he found it. He yawned and then stretched, he had already been here for an hour, and it certainly didn't feel like it. He looked around, there wasn't very many people here. But thats what he had always liked about this place. The stresses of home and parties couldn't be found here.
He began scanning through the science titles again. There were so many things to choose from. But he decided to read something a bit different from what he had been reading. A book about astronomy seemed to stick out to him, so he reached for it, but he couldn't reach it. It was pretty high up. He looked down the aisle and saw a ladder. He rolled it over to where he needed it and began climbing up.
He picked the book he wanted, and started downward. But as he did his foot slipped and he tumbled backward, and landed on his back at the bottom. The breath knocked out of him, and he couldn't breathe for a moment. But soon air filled his lungs, and he gasped for air. He laid there for a moment just letting the air fill him. He felt so embarrassed, nothing like this had ever happened to him before. He honestly hoped no one saw, or heard for that matter. But he was kind of big so he doubted that. He sighed, then slowly sat up. He picked up the book, and brushed it off. As sort of apologizing to it. He hated damaging books, but luckily he hadn't damaged this one.

Annabelle Curr Buckingham
The look upon her face was a mixture of pure horror, exhaustion, and hatred. Horror at all the time she had wasted doing work someone of her rank shouldn’t have even thought of doing, exhaustion of thinking back on all of that she had done, and hatred of all the elements that led to this day. The small child at Mme. Forestier’s hip looked up at the aged woman, who looked near hysterics at the news of the old necklaces real worth.
Mme. Forestier noticing the look on her dear friends face held a look of amused sympathy. “May I pay you back at least a piece of your misery, you have managed these long ten years?” Mme Loisel held back a cry of joy; did this mean she would get the money back? Goodness no she wouldn’t be getting it all back she knew that much, but even the eighteen hundred francs her husband had given up...
So deep into her book it took the startling sound of someone falling to rip her eyes from the string of words. Lifting her head in surprise she looked around, none of the other people bothered to look but she couldn't help but notice a fairly tall person sitting up and treating the book like a wounded animal. She tilted her head slightly, not many people treated things like that, even while poor they didn't really think twice about the feeling of inanimate objects.
She blinked twice and then shook herself free of her overbearing thoughts, there she went over thinking things all over again. She finished up the story she had been reading and then closed the book. Standing up she wasn’t sure if she should dare put the book back and grab another at the risk or standing close to the other person. She had been given so many negative reactions to her presence recently she was a bit trustless these days around people.
Sighing she knew she wanted to get the second part of the story so she forced herself to stand and move to the bookcase. “Excuse me…” She muttered softly under her breath. She put the book back and grabbed the one next in chronicle order. She then with slightly pursed lips frowned. “Yours alright aren’t you?” She wasn’t sure if she really wanted to ask… He had a bad fall he must have been hurt, but the fall plus the embarrassment must have been enough she shouldn't have to rub it in… She didn’t want to ask but, she felt it was rude not to. She didn’t look at him but stood still waiting for his reply.
OCC;; Ah alright ^^

“Your alright aren’t you?”
Tristyn looked up to where the voice was coming from. He could feel heat creeping onto his cheeks, "Um..yeah I'm fine I think...Thanks." He smiled weakly. With book in hand he went to get up, then winced. He must have sprained his foot, he thought to himself. Sighing he struggled to get up again, but this time he put all of his weight on his other foot.
He leaned against the bookshelf and looked down at the girl, she was pretty. He admitted to himself. With that thought he looked down at the book. It was black, with a star imprinted in the middle. And under the star were words printed in silver that said, World of Stars. He always thought it was funny that most scientific books said something about World of Things. They never made more interesting titles. Probably because not many people are into them.
He sighed again, and looked at the girl,"May I ask you your name?" he asked. He wanted to maybe get to know her a little, and he kind of wanted to change the subject from his falling off of a ladder.

He gave an answer, it was accompanied by a bit of a blush but the answer settled her slight fear that he might not be alright. He smiled weakly and with book in hand went to get up but she noticed him wince. She frowned ever so slightly but after a moment he got up and with his weight on the other foot seemed fine.
He leaned against the bookshelf which spoke levels of what the fall had done but she didn't dare ask him if he needed help. She glanced over at the book in his hand and noticed the title and the interesting star, she wasn't the scientific type, she liked fiction, mystery, and the like... She was strange she never liked truth, you could get that in real life.
She broke out of her wandering thoughts at him sighing, he looked at her and then spoke, May I ask you your name?, she had no idea why he couldn't, she figured he wanted to change the subject which would make total sense. With a voice slightly above a whisper, she smiled softly, "My name is Annabelle, nice to meet you..."

"My name is Annabelle, nice to meet you..."
Tristyn nodded,"Lovely name." he said with a smile. He was beginning to enter his flirt mode. Which sometimes was never a good thing. Except it always happened when he was around cute girls. But it was just a guy thing he suppose. Though all of his friends were already married, and he wasn't. Probably because he was a flirt.
"I'm Tristyn Scott, and its a pleasure to meet you too." He stuck his hand out as a sign to shake hands. He had big-ish hands, which he liked to call them man hands. A lot of girls liked them. Though he thought that was kind of strange. But girls could be weird. Not that he cared, because he loved them to much.

Lovely name. she noticed his smile and gave a look of surprise, not many she met really cared about her name other then to know what to call her, red head, hey you, girl, and blue eyes were what many called her until she made the point, her name was Annabelle, still didn't change anything much less get a complement. She hugged the book she had been holding in one hand to her chest.
I'm Tristyn Scott, and its a pleasure to meet you too. His name was interesting, plain and simple yet she had never heard it before. She refused to say that however because she wasn't sure if he would take it as an insult, it in her mind wasn't an insult, some people had overly complicated names... Those were the worst. She felt her own name was a bit to complicated but eh... She was zoning out again.
She noticed he was holding his hand out, normally it was a bow that signaled a hello, two men shook hands, two woman curtsied, and to meet half way you could either break the gender barrier which was thought to be impolite by most 'rich' or bow which was a feminine medium... She let go of the book with her right hand and shook his hand slightly with her smaller, softer hand. She gave a soft polite smile and then took her hand back, not really used to talking to people after being a tad be solitary all these weeks.

Tristyn grinned as she shook his hand. He was glad she wasn't offended by him giving her a man greeting, but he really didn't know what else to do. At parties he would normally bow, which would usually signal a offer to dance. But they were in a library, so he didn't think it mattered much.
It became silent and he could feel an awkward moment coming on. With a nervous chuckle, he put his hand behind his head, and tried desperately to think of something to say..Anything at all. He didn't want her thinking he was weird, so his mind was in overload.
"Uh..So do you enjoy books?"
Tristyn could have smacked himself, Do you enjoy books? That was probably the dumbest question ever. Of course she did. She was in a library for Pete's sake. He could feel more heat creeping onto his face. Great he looked even more like an idiot. He had never felt so stupid before. Normally he was smooth, and knew exactly what to say. Maybe he had hit his head when he fell. He had no idea.

She noticed him grin, her small smile grew ever so much. It soon became silent and she could feel a moment of awkward tension surrounding them. Hearing him give a nervous chuckle he placed a hand behind his head, she felt her mind race to come up with something to say, just as she was about to ask a question he beat her to the punch. "Uh..So do you enjoy books?" She giggled softly and nodded, "I do, depends on what type though." It was a particular question due to the nature of where the question was asked. She noticed his face change once more, it seemed the question had hit him as strange to, sadly to late to take it back.
It could have been changed to what kind of books do you like, that's how she answered slightly. She decided to keep going on that subject, not much of a talker she preferred her soft speech tot he overwhelming silence, "I stay away from reality and try to go for mystery, fantasy, or other such things as that. I use the others to learn from however, I can't really pick... I take it you like books also." She tilted her head at the book he was holding. It was a science book from the looks of it but she wasn't sure, anything was possible with titles. She waited for his reply hoping she did her part starting a conversation... She hadn't done that in a long time.

Tristyn nodded, trying to forget about that stupid question he had just asked. And he was glad she changed it to the what kind of books you like conversations, instead of just making a awkward. That's what he should have asked. "Yes...I like books.." He chuckled, lifting up the book in his hand.
"I'm more of a reality person. The mysterious of the world have always intrigued me. I've never gotten into fantasies, or mysteries though. I've read one once, but it didn't really hold my attention..." He realized he was kind of babbling. What was wrong with him? He noticed the book in Annabelle's hand,"What book is that?" he asked.
He looked at the book in his own hand. He probably looked like a closed-minded nerd. Into only reality, and anything besides science was rubbish. Hopefully she didn't think he was that kind of guy. He just never got into fiction. Maybe if he had found an interesting enough book then he would have.

Yes...I like books.., ah so he wasn't here to stare at the pages in boredom, she thought in mild amusement. She looked closer at the book he lifted up, yup it looked like a science book, from the look of it he seemed into the reality she liked to escape, she had reasons to however so if he liked reality it its mysterious ways instead of just play fantasy that was alright.
Truly, if it had pages it was something she would read. I'm more of a reality person. The mysterious of the world have always intrigued me. I've never gotten into fantasies, or mysteries though. I've read one once, but it didn't really hold my attention..., she smiled softly at his explanation. You either liked them or you didn't, rarely could you enjoy both worlds. She knew someone who enjoyed both but kept quiet.
What book is that? she lifted her own book from her arms, "Its a collection of short stories from Edgar Allen Poe, his style is wonderful, this is his second collection I've read recently." The other one had been someone else collection but in general these were all part of her chronicle order of readable books, none really tied together so she could have read the last book and it still would have made sense, seeing they were nothing but short stories and poems.
"I find realty and its secrets better kept secret, I will read anything but to be lost in the word of someone else's world is so much fun, hand me anything I'll read it though..." That wasn't something to brag about really, she was calling herself a bookworm, but ti was the truth so she couldn't really say much else. Maybe he could point her in the direction of an interesting science book she had missed. She might be able to help him find a good friction novel, not that she was forcing him or anything... Just an idea.

"Its a collection of short stories from Edgar Allen Poe, his style is wonderful, this is his second collection I've read recently."
Tristyn looked down towards the book she held out, "I've never heard of him.." he admitted. "What kind of stories are they?" He asked curiously. He never had been into books like that, but he was interested in what they were about. Maybe just not enough to really get into them.
"I find realty and its secrets better kept secret, I will read anything but to be lost in the word of someone else's world is so much fun, hand me anything I'll read it though..."
"Anything huh?" He chuckled, he looked at his book then went to hand her it,"What about this one?" He grinned, and he figured that she wouldn't actually take it. He wasn't even sure if he would even be into this book. He hadn't really studied stars much. Just things about bacteria, ands cells. It was the small things that interested him. Plants were also interesting as well, and animals...He guessed he was really into everything. So he'd probably be into stars too.

I've never heard of him.., he continued, What kind of stories are they? She paused for a second, he sounded curious so she hoped she did a good enough job explaining. "Uh... Well he tends to do drama and horror. Always leaving at a cliff hanger to further indulge the mind..." She often wrote endings to these stories in her free time, however recently she hadn't been around the right materials so closer her eyes and picturing it was the next best thing.
Anything huh? She heard him chuckle, What about this one? ... Carefully putting the other one under her arm she took the other and flipped thought it. "The stars, I've been told someone in my family was an astronomer... Can't remember who, the stars are mystical in themselves so its a nice middle ground, enough reality and then a dose of mysterious fiction due to the olden myths. I do believe I could read that if I wasn't on a cliff hanger." Sherlock Holmes was currently about to solve the mystery but due to the magazines...
Well it was printed in another book, the printing was really strange but she didn't care as long as she could read it. Offering the book back to him she figured he wasn't into the stars, he seemed to not like the mythical as much... She could be wrong she wouldn't judge either way he liked books which was good enough. Careful not to drop her own book she waited for him to take the one he offered to her back, already having to much on her plate to read it at the current moment.

"Uh... Well he tends to do drama and horror. Always leaving at a cliff hanger to further indulge the mind..."
"Sounds interesting." Tristyn said sincerely. He had never heard of a cliff hanger book. He wondered what those would be like. But he didn't ask her what those were, because he didn't want to seem dumb. So he figured he would just read one sometime and see for himself.
"The stars, I've been told someone in my family was an astronomer... Can't remember who, the stars are mystical in themselves so its a nice middle ground, enough reality and then a dose of mysterious fiction due to the olden myths. I do believe I could read that if I wasn't on a cliff hanger."
He watched her in surprise as she took the book, and said what she did. She seemed like she knew more about stars then he. But of course he didn't have a family member that was an Astronomer. Still he felt a little jealous. All he had in his family were people that were good at trades, so good that they became wealthy. There were no scholars, or scientists, or astronomers. He figured he would be the first to become one in his family. His father would be disappointed in him, but he didn't care.
He took the book back from her, and smiled,"Ah so you aren't the closed-minded type." he observed. He stuck a hand in his pocket, and awaited her reply.
