Well, of course we can’t leave you guys alone just to rp and read our boring old updates and announcements, now can we? Here you can do almost anything. Of course you still have to obey the rules, but yea. And if you're new to VoB, make sure to introduce yourself here! Or if you're into art make sure to check out our art studio board!
Ever thought about what life would be without a set of rules? Guess what you wouldn’t get too far in this time without them. There aren’t many but enough to keep everyone in line. We also have a list of prices for “these” times, and this is also where we have our Announcements.
Yes, right. Have you ever wanted to be staff before but you haven’t been staff on any other rp? Well guess what, we will give you the chance. We have a few positions you can chose from, so no worries. We will also give you a few pointers if you feel confused. OPEN!
This is where we let non-members and members come and advertise. We have two sub-boards, one for the people who are first timers when affiliating (meaning that we havent posted on your site before) and also for the people for the Second Tumers (meaning that we posted on your site first) We also have out affiliating code, and rules here.
Here is another place for important information where we post it. On this board we have a thread that contains what and how you should act in this RP. Since this takes place back in the early 1930’s people did not act or dress like we do today. We have pictures (if there not there, contact staff ASAP) for you, and also how they entertained themselves.
Yep, finally you get to the best part… Well almost. Here you can fill out our form to make your character(s), or choose one from our adoptables board. The logs, where you can store character information, are also found here. Adoptibles ▒ Accepted Characters ▒ The Logs
Wrapped in a deep green color on the outside of this historic building. Every inch has character. Eleigant in every inch of the inside. Suites are on the tope two floors, and the rest 6 floors are normal rooms, which doesn’t lack much. Being one of the few Inn’s in London at the time, there prices aren’t the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

This bridge crosses over the River Thames in London in a North-East to South-West direction. It is on the A316 route, and joins the areas of Mortlake and North Sheen in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on the South side, with Chiswick in the London Borough of Hounslow on the North side. There was no previous bridge on this site.
A large, daunting, building with steep stone steps leading up to it's heavy glass doors. Old graying columns support a slate roof, which has been hazardous to stand under, looking at when that one piece of slate slipped off and killed a Mr. Timons.
Inside is thick red carpeting and tall dark-stained oak bookcases. The lighting isn't very good in some of the places tucked back away from the windows, but people manage. There are comfortably overstuffed leather chairs set about, in which you find people immersed for hours.
Don't let the title fool you, M'alaon's is definitely nothing fancy. The owner, Mrs. Bomet, serves cheap food cheap. Located on a corner street, the cafe is usually pretty busy, though. If you're looking for a cheap meal, or just a hot cup o' tea, this is the place to come.
Dubrea. Located in the North-East side of the city, it offers education to a fairly wide degree of students, elementary to high school. From the poor runny nosed kids that never have any lunch money or shoes to the snotty (in much different terms, although - say if you were a stalking fanboy or something - it'd be very possible for you to spot one of them with their fingers in their noses, sneaking boogers when they thought no one was looking) girls that giggle about how wonderful they believe themselves to be.
The teachers are strict, most with the high belief that whacking children with rulers is good for them.
Welcome to Pilert Avenue and Hine Boulevard! Lining both sides of the streets are tall brick townhouses, ivy inching it's way up their sides. They're surrounded by black wrought iron gates, and a few have gargoyles staring down from their peaks. Some of the townhouses are privately owned by people of the higher class, others rented. The insides are sophisticatedly furnished, and they're commonly known as for finer living.
If you'd like your own sub-board just message Emily or Reld. (;
Noliging houses England's most beautiful paintings, sculptures, and other such art. If you need someplace to spend an afternoon, or hide from the noise or other things, then this is a good place to go. Just watch what you wash your face beforehand, they've been known to throw "dirt bags" out.
Large ships lined from color, size, and beauty in a straight role. There usually is about 50 ships each day that come and go during the work days which are Monday-Friday. The “Mayflower” one of the most famous ships of this time, rests here during the weekends. Be careful about your child playing near the ships, and water, during workdays or weekends.
The big ben clock is huge, the tower is a mere 320 feet high with the clock faces being 23 feet wide. The minute hands are 14 feet long and cover the distance of an average man every 5 minutes. The bell was completed in 1859 and at the time it was the largest bell in the United Kingdom.
Built as a modern home, with many windows, the Turners Law Office is located at the edge of London. The building is a modern green, with white trim and black window ceils. Character in every inch of the old office, there is a history in every corner, a history not many know of..
Martlet Gardens is three acres, set outside of London away from the busy streets, so it's one of the most peaceful places in the city. The cobblestone paths lead through neatly trimmed hedges and rosebushes, tall spruces, maples, and evergreen trees, and in the warm season many beautifully colorful flowers.
There are benches spread along the pathway so that you can catch your breath, and a lot of squirrel inhabitants.
Founded in 1882 by a Mistress Daphen (rumored to still be found, old and near stupid by deaf and blindness, in her chambers in the west tower), this school, sitting on a big hill looking down over London, has watched the city expand, and sent many a bright, educated mind out into the world.
It has a powerfully high reputation, and should, with what they charge for admission alone.
It accepts both girls and boys, of ages ten to eighteen, and has high standards when it comes to education.

Valley of Bridges (aka VoB) is a RPG based in 1933 in London, England during the Great Depression. It is based around the lives of the people who could barley stay above water. It's time they tell there stories.
It was much different in 1933 from the lives we live now. There weren’t any McDonalds’ or Wendy’s, they ate at home, and rarely went out shopping for new clothes - they only wore there best clothes on Sundays or to a party, of which there were few.
There where very few cars in this time and age, and everyone walked or rode in carriages (men rode horse back, but it was unheard of for female to ride horseback) There where balls, and many girls got married at the early age of 17 or older.
Some were wealthier then others, but deep down everyone was suffering from the Depression.
